This Southern Illinois Bed and Breakfast is located along the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. The Wine trail has 12 wineries Alto Vineyard, Blue Sky Vineyard, Hedman Vinyards, Inheritance Valley, Owl Creek Vineyard, Pomona Winery, Starview Vineyards, Von Jakob Vineyadrs, Kite Hill Vineyards, Orlandini Vineyard, Hicory Ridge Vineyard and Winery, and Rustle Hill Winery all located with in a 45 distance from one end of the trail to the other. This trail is located within the Shawnee National Forest where you can hike, bike, rock cilmb, horseback ride and also visit Giant City Park. Many events happen in Southern Illinois the River to River Relay, Shawnee Wine Trail Festival, Illinois High School Rodeo Association Finals, Birding Blitz at the Cache River Basin, October Fest, Pumpkin Town, The Illinois Trappers Association meeting, Cobden Car Show, Spring Bed and Breakfast Tours, are just to name a few. We are located in Southern Illinois below Southern Illinois University Carbondale in Union County. Southern Illinois has 18 bed and breakfast along the Wine trail as well as many cabins for you to choose the right place for you. Our bed and breakfast is not your adverage bnb we offer Romantic Suites and Famliy Suites. We offer Girls night out or bring a group of couples we can accommodated 14 couples. Take the Wine trail limo bus and have a good time. |
During your get away you can also enjoy the Anna Park playgrounds, picnic area, tennis courts, baseball fields, golf course, jogging tracks and a fishing pond (Illinois license required to fish) all a short walk from the back door.
